The President of UH-GAF, Professor Vincent Emery, accompanied by colleagues from the Physiotherapy programme including the lead, Professor Amira Draz, visited the Dar El Mona Medical and Rehabilitation Resort in Giza to sign a MoU to facilitate physiotherapy student placements at this centre. Dar El Mona is a leader in quality medical and rehabilitation services supported by cutting edge evidence based therapy. Following the official signing the UH-GAF delegation was given a tour of the hospital’s grounds and hi-tech facilities. Speaking about the relationship between the Dar El Mona hospital and UH-GAF the President noted “My visit visit to Dar El Mona provided me an opportunity to see first hand the facilities and clinical training that our physiotherapy students will receive at this hospital and rehabilitation complex. I expect our relationship to grow rapidly and expand into other areas of activity where there is synergy between our two organisations including in Pharmacy, Business and Engineering. The work being performed at Dar El Mona to support patients with a range of rehabilitation needs is very impressive and I am very pleased that Dar El Mona is a key partner for UH-GAF”.
