The Role of Pharmacists during COVID-19 pandemic

As part of our commitment to students during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have continued our webinar series on COVID-19 and its effects.

In this week’s episode, we wanted to highlight pharmacists and their role during the COVID-19 pandemic as they work to help find a cure and treat patients.

We want to celebrate those working behind the scenes and highlight their important role during the pandemic.

Like doctors and nurses, pharmacists have been an integral part of the on-going battle against the pandemic, working long hours and extra days. With doctors and nurses already in the spotlight, we want to show off those behind the scenes.

We are excited to talk with special guests

  • Professor Ashraf Hatem, Former Minister of Health and Population, Professor of Pulmonary Medicine at Cairo University
  • Dr. Abdel Nasser Singab, Vice-president of Postgraduate, Research & Inter. Relationship at Ain Shams University, Acting Head of the Egyptian Pharmacist Syndicate
  • Dr. Ashraf Mansour MD., Chairman of the board at GSK Egypt
  • And Dr. Zoe Aslanpor, Consultant in Public Health, Asst. Dean Inter. & Partnership School of Life & Medical at our partner the University of Hertfordshire in the UK

Join us in highlighting the importance of Pharmacists and their work during this pandemic
