IT for Business Management is built to prepare the “ideal business graduate,” a business person who will bridge the difficult gap between IT and Business.
This degree provides you with the technical, project and business management skills to design, develop, evaluate and manage IT solutions for real business problems. Students will grow an understanding of the social, professional and legal issues involved in developing and managing IT systems.

The modules you will study include Information Systems for Business, Information Technology Management for Business, Financial Analysis Techniques, Programming, Platforms for Computing, Project Planning and Control, Modelling Business Problems, Preparation for Placement and Employment, Operating Systems and Networks, Enterprise Databases, Advanced Project and Risk Management, Research Methods, Leadership and Organisations, User Experience and Information Security Management.
Graduates are prepared for management or senior professional careers in designing, developing and implementing technology solutions for businesses. Typical fields for graduates include IT management, strategy and planning, system design and IT consultancy.
