About the Degree

Physiotherapy focuses on working with people to identify and maximise their ability to move and function, a vital part of what it means to be healthy. Physiotherapists improve their patients’ lives by making it easier and more comfortable, making it a very personal but satisfying career.

With a Physiotherapy degree, you will have a wide range of industries to work in, such as with professional sports teams in sports such as football, squash and tennis. Some students can choose to use their physiotherapy degree to focus on rehabilitation, post-partum care or work with young children.

Progression Requirements: From IFP to Level 4

Students are expected to demonstrate a satisfactory progress toward completion of their major degree; accordingly, they must satisfy the following requirements in the International Foundation Program (IFP) to progress to Level 4.

• Achieve a grade of 60% or more in Advanced Chemistry.
• Achieve a grade of 70% or more in Biological Science 2.
• Achieve a grade of 50% or more in Intensive/Standard English 2 (with a minimum of 50% in each of reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
• Achieve a grade of 40% or more in all other modules.
