Mrs. Hanan El Saadawi is currently the Director of Business Development at the University of Hertfordshire (UH) hosted by Global Academic Foundation (GAF).

Since 2007, she has operated at The British University in Egypt (BUE) as Executive Director of Engagement, Public Relations, Marketing, Alumni, and Student Activities & Welfare. She has worked there for almost 16 years, gaining meritorious experience within such diverse departments. At the BUE, Mrs. Hanan regularly ran all-inclusive strategic planning, communications, corporate event planning, quality assurance, service delivery, budgeting, health and safety & safeguarding on university parameters.

Before joining the educational sector, dating from 1992 to 2007, she was a producer, news Coordinator, and special assignments at Reuters TV. Notably, she formulated specialized news and TV programmes with relation to the Middle East alongside establishing news, TV, and documentaries for both Iraq and Jordan. Furthermore, Mrs. Hanan worked as a producer at NHK, Japan Broadcasting Corporation.

Mrs. Hanan El Saadawi holds a Bachelor's degree in TV & Journalism from The American University in Cairo (AUC). Moreover, she holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), specializing in Marketing, from The British University in Egypt (BUE).
