Dr. Khaled Kirah is a seasoned academic leader and professor with a distinguished career in engineering education and research. Currently serving as the Dean of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Hertfordshire, hosted by Global Academic Foundation (UH-GAF), he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role. Prior to joining UH-GAF, Dr. Kirah held various key positions at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt.

From July 2019 to the present, Dr. Kirah served as the Director of Undergraduate Specialized Programs within the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University, overseeing 11 programs with a student population exceeding 10,000. His leadership extended to heading the Engineering Physics and Mathematics Department from February 2022 to July 2023, where he played a crucial role in shaping the academic direction of the department.

Dr. Kirah's commitment to education is further evidenced by his roles as Head of Freshman Level Exam Control and Freshman Level Coordinator for Specialized Programs at Ain Shams University. His career trajectory, spanning from Teaching Assistant to Associate Professor at Université Française d'Égypte and later Professor at Ain Shams University, reflects a consistent dedication to academia. Additionally, Dr. Kirah has contributed significantly to the field of nanotechnology, serving as a Member of the Board of Directors of Ain Shams University Nanotechnology Center since July 2023.
