The University of Hertfordshire in Egypt, hosted by Global Academic Foundation, is the first full-fledged branch campus of a UK university in Egypt.
Earlier this month, the University of Hertfordshire in Egypt hosted fifteen members from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK in our campus here in the New Administrative Capital. The UK delegation included senior staff from international, quality assurance, CPLs, Associate Deans and Deans that represent various schools and departments.
The purpose of the visit was to assess UH-GAF’s overall progress, arrange campus tours and evaluations, oversee academic developments, and meet our faculty, staff and students
Whereas the first day of the visit mainly included introductions, campus tours and programme-specific workshops, the second day of the visit marked the first in-depth step for the UH delegates into the world of UH-GAF. On that day, the professors and module leaders were able to attend real classes, converse with our students and form a thorough impression on our high-calibre educational system.
The third and final day of the visit was equally eventful, as the university’s marketing team carried out interviews with the CPL’s lecturers and deans from the British campus, whereas James Perrin – Director of International Partnerships – carried out a Q&A session with prospective applicants and their parents to answer any potential questions they might have about UH.
